How to Install a GPS Antenna on a Silverado

    Magnetic Mount

    • 1). Place the antenna on the magnetic mount so it sits over the screw holes.

    • 2). Insert the provided screws into the screw holes and secure them with the screwdriver.

    • 3). Set the antenna on a flat surface of the vehicle. The easiest place to set the antenna is on the top of the truck cab.

    • 4). Run the antenna cable from the antenna to the inside of the cab. Open the door on the side of the vehicle where the antenna is located and route the cable into the cab.

    • 5). Connect the antenna cable to the GPS unit; turn it on to test the antenna.

    Windshield Installation

    • 1). Place the antenna on the suction cup mount so that it sits over the screw holes.

    • 2). Insert the provided screws into the screw holes and tighten them with the screwdriver

    • 3). Connect the antenna cable and place the mount on the windshield. Align the mount to find the best location and secure it by pressing the mount onto the windshield. Press firmly so you create a good seal with the suction cups.
