How to Reset the Frequency on a Keyless Entry for an Automobile

    • 1). Turn your ignition on and press and hold the "Unlock" button on your remote. After four seconds, continue holding the "Unlock" button and then press and hold the "Panic" button.

    • 2). Hold both buttons for over a second and then release both. Do not proceed until the car emits a chiming noise for around three seconds.

    • 3). Press and hold any button on your keyless entry remote after the chime, and continue holding the button until the car sounds another chime. At this point, you can release the button and turn the ignition key back to "Off" to finish the process.
