How to Use Pioneer AUX Input

    • 1). Connect one end of a 1/8-inch audio cable to the AUX input located on the faceplate of the Pioneer car stereo, and connect the other to the "Line Out" or headphone jack of the device you wish to connect.

    • 2). Press the "Source" button ("SRC/OFF") on the Pioneer stereo repeatedly until you reach the "AUX" setting. This selects the auxiliary input as the audio source to be played through the stereo and its speakers.

    • 3). Press the multi-control ("M.C.") knob on the stereo to turn on the AUX input (if necessary).

    • 4). Begin playback on the auxiliary device, and adjust the volume on either the device or the Pioneer stereo (or both) to set the volume level to your liking.
