- 1). Part your hair into two sections, down the center of your head. Gather a section of hair, 1 inch in diameter, on each side of the part and about 2 inches back from the forehead. Clip these sections back with your hair clips to keep them out of your way.
- 2). Gather a section of hair, 2 inches in diameter, above each of your ears. Clip these sections of hair back with your hair clips.
- 3). Pull the rest of your hair into a bun at the nape of your neck. Secure with a hair tie.
- 4). Braid each of the sections that were clipped back in Step 1. Pin the ends of the braids to your bun.
- 5). Braid each of the sections that were clipped back in Step 2. Pull the braids back, and pin the ends to the back of your head, under the bun.
- 1). Part your hair down the center of your head. Gather a section of hair, 1 inch in diameter, on each side of the part and 1 to 2 inches back from the forehead. Clip these sections back with hair clips, to keep them out of your way.
- 2). Comb the remaining hair back, and leave it down, rather than putting it into a bun.
- 3). Braid each of the sections that were pinned back in Step 1. Pull the braids back, and secure them with a decorative hair clip or barrette.
