- 1). Apply hot glue to the front and backside of one end of the headband. Criss-cross two ribbon ends and apply to the front of the headband. Repeat with remaining two ribbon strands, applying to the backside of the headband.
- 2). Trim the ribbon ends flush to the headband. Seal the ends of the ribbon to the headband by heating them with the lighter.
- 3). Hold the headband with the ribbon-banded bottom facing upwards toward you, cross the ribbon strands on the backside of the headband diagonally towards the front of the headband. Wrap the rear left ribbon to the front right position, and the rear right position to the front left position.
- 4). Cross the original front-side ribbons to the backside, wrapping the front right to rear left position and front left to rear right position. Repeat braiding process for front and back ribbons, bringing the ribbon strands back to their original starting sides.
- 5). Repeat the braiding cycle across the length of the headband. Apply glue to the end of the headband to secure ribbon ends.
- 6). Trim the ribbon ends flush to the headband. Seal the ends of the ribbon to the headband by heating them with the lighter.
