How to Use AT&T Quicksilver Globetrotter

    • 1). Open the Quicksilver USB by turning the cap to the left or the right. If this is your first time using the device, remove the pull tab covering the USB connector and insert the SIM card in the slot above the USB connector.

    • 2). Push the SIM card into the USB until it clicks into place.

    • 3). Install the software for your Quicksilver device. Windows 2000, XP and Vista users should push the Quicksilver into the USB port to access the AT&T Communications Manager, which automatically starts and guides you through installation. Users with Mac OS 10.3.9, 10.4.11, 10.5 and higher should download the GlobeTrotter Connect software from Option Wireless (see Resources).

    • 4). Restart your computer once the software has completely installed. Windows users should double-click the "ACM" desktop icon and click "Connect" when the button turns orange. Open your web browser to go online. Click "Disconnect" to end your wireless session. Mac users should click the "GlobeTrotter Connect" desktop icon and click "Connect" when the button turns active. Open your web browser to get online, and click "Disconnect" when you are finished.
