Love handles.
They are not so lovable right? Specially when they make you look fat.
This is a zone most people target ineffectively.
However it can be exercised to tone it and reduce it.
Along with a good diet plan and cardio training, you'll lose the love handles in no time.
To get rid of love handles you must work the obliques, a forgotten section in most abs routines.
And also work on lowering your whole body fat.
There's no thing such as 'spot toning', it's about the whole.
So exercises for love handles just work the muscle, but this will help you tighten the area and look firmer.
While doing the traditional crunches and sit ups you'll work the obliques a little, these exercises will power them up: Twist Crunches 1.
Lie on your back, with the knees bent.

Slowly lift your head and place both hands behind your head.
3.
Twist to the right bringing your right elbow to your left knee while extending the other leg.
4.
Twist to the other side bringing your left elbow to your right knee.
This is one repetition.
5.
Repeat 20 times.
Standing Trunk Twists 1.
Stand with your feet a foot apart and the knees slightly bent.
2.
Twist your torso to the right while keeping your legs as stable as possible.
Cross your arm in front of you like a punch.
3.
Twist back and to the other side.
4.
Repeat 100 times.
These two exercises will help you strengthen your oblique section.
Add them to your normal abs routine and with diet and exercise you'll lose love handles fast.
Remember that just exercising the muscles will not bring you any noticeable results, specially if you keep on with bad eating habits.
