How to Transfer Video From a Camcorder to a PC Through the FX 5200 TV Out

    • 1). Plug the 3.5 mm end of the cable into the "Video Out" port on the video camcorder. This is best used with analog-based video cameras, as the video input is not digital and does not provide the best audio- and video-quality capture.

    • 2). Insert the RCA ends of the cables into the "Video In" connection ports on the FX 5200 card.

    • 3). Power on the video camera and set it to "View" mode, then launch Windows Movie Maker (located on the "Start" menu).

    • 4). Choose "Capture," then select the "FX 5200" as the device you want to capture from. Click "Record" and the content from the video camera is recorded onto the computer. Select "Stop" at any time to stop the recording option.
