- 1). Place the drip pan on the floor below the water connections in the laundry room or closet.
- 2). Slide the bottom edge of the two-hand truck under the Maytag from the back of the appliance and tip the truck back onto its wheels.
- 3). Guide the Maytag into the condo on the two-hand truck with the help of a friend. Lower the appliance in front of the drip pan and remove the two-hand truck.
- 4). Fasten the two water hoses to the hot and cold nozzles on the back of the Maytag and tighten each connection with pliers.
- 5). Turn the Maytag so the back panel faces the wall and lift the appliance with a friend's help. Lower the Maytag into the drip pan.
- 6). Connect the opposite ends of the two water hoses to the nozzles on the laundry room wall and tighten with pliers.
- 7). Insert the end of the drain hose on the back of the Maytag into the wall drain pipe.
- 8). Unscrew the knobs for the two water faucets connected to the Maytag to check for leaks. Tighten the hoses with pliers to stop any dripping water, then dry your hands.
- 9). Plug in the Maytag's power cord to a standard, 120-volt wall outlet.
