Remove any baseboards or trim from the wall using a slim pry bar. Remove other wall covering such as paneling or wainscot by removing the nails with the claw hammer. Pry the glued-on wainscot boards or paneling off the wall with a slim pry bar. - 3

Knock a hole in the drywall using a hammer. Find the stud behind the drywall. Find the center of the stud. Cut down the center of the stud from the outside of the wall with the box knife. Insert the pry bar into the hole and pry the drywall off the studs. Remove the drywall sheet. Continue down the wall removing slabs of the drywall. Remove the drywall screws from the studs using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
