- 1). Install the sight onto your bow. Fasten the sight to the bow's riser using the two bolts provided with the sight. Tighten the bolts with a wrench until the sight is stable.
- 2). Install the pin attachment onto the sight's vertical arm by sliding it onto the arm and tightening the adjustment knob.
- 3). Slide the sight pin roughly halfway down the sight to begin. You will adjust the vertical location of the pin later, when you sight in the bow, to make your shooting accurate.
- 4). Clear a shooting space that is 20 meters long. Set up a target at one end of the range.
- 1). Stand 20 meters away from the target. Position yourself so that your body is perpendicular to the bow.
- 2). Load an arrow into your bow. Aim the bow at the target so that the pin is positioned in the center of the target's bull's-eye. Shoot the arrow.
- 3). Repeat Step 2 at least three times. Don't worry if the arrows aren't hitting the target's bull's-eye. The object of the first round of shooting is to get a grouping.
- 4). Walk up to the target and see where your arrow grouping is in relation to the bull's-eye. Modify the horizontal location of the sight's pin to move the arrows toward the grouping: if the arrows are to the right of the bull's-eye, move the pin to the right, and vice-versa.
- 5). Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until the arrow grouping is horizontally even with the bull's-eye.
- 6). Adjust the vertical location of the pin sight: if the arrow grouping is lower than the bull's-eye, lower the location of the pin by sliding it down, and vice-versa.
- 7). Continue to shoot arrow groupings and adjust the sight until the arrows are consistently grouped in the bull's-eye.
