Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Start with an easy homemade solution of water and rubbing alcohol. Mix these ingredients with one part alcohol to three parts water. Apply them to your mirror using a clean rag, wiping the mirror down in even strokes. This will get rid of the fog and keep your mirror clean.
2
Try shaving cream. Spray it on the mirror then allow it to dry. The natural ingredients in the cream will treat the mirror and give it temporary anti-fog properties. After it has dried, wipe it off with a wet cloth.
3
Use a glass cleaner and a squeegee to get the mirror really clean. Look for a glass cleaner that is designed to be streak-free and to prevent fog. Spray the cleaner liberally onto the glass then squeegee it off.
4
Clear fog away quickly using a hair dryer. If you need a clean mirror right away so you can fix your hair and makeup, aim your hair dryer at the mirror to clear away the fog instantly.
5
Treat your mirrors with anti-fog wipes. These products can be found at auto shops and are designed to keep car mirrors and windows from fogging. They contain strong anti-fog agents that will work for several months. Simply wipe your mirrors down with these cloths then clean them as needed.
