Take the cover off the range hood fan and clean it in warm soapy water.

Clean the filter, if necessary. Throw it in the dishwasher if it is metal for the best results.

Using a cloth, sponge, or scrubber, wipe the fan blades free of grease.

For tough grease, you may need to use an acidic cleaner such as vinegar to cut the grease.

Dry the fan blades thoroughly.

Replace the filter and cover and you're done.
