How to Boot an Acer ZG5 From a USB

    • 1). Insert a bootable USB drive into a USB port of the Acer netbook.

    • 2). Restart the Acer ZG5 netbook.

    • 3). Press the button "F2" when the netbook start to boot and the Acer logo appears on the display; the BIOS menu will appear in a few seconds.

    • 4). Highlight the BIOS menu option "Boot" with the keyboard arrow keys, then press "Enter."

    • 5). Select the option "Boot priority" under the menu "Boot" and press "Enter."

    • 6). Highlight the entry "1st boot device" using the arrow keys and press "Enter."

    • 7). Select the option "Removable device" from the list and press "Enter." This option includes removable USB drives but not the CD/DVD drive.

    • 8). Press the "F10" key to save the changes and exit BIOS. The netbook will restart and will boot from the USB drive.
