Do You Wish You Had a Bigger Penis? Why?

Very few men could honestly say that they wouldn't happily add an inch or so to their penis.
For better or for worse, our need to relate the size of our little fella directly to our masculinity, confidence and sexual prowess seems to be hardwired into our brains.
But although it's a really innate desire, more and more men seem to be suffering from serious penis size anxiety these days - so much so that the condition has its own medical name - penile dysmorphophobia.
So why are more and more men convincing themselves that their penises are so microscopic that they'll go to any lengths to try to enlarge themselves - either through the use of ineffective 'miracle' products such as penis pills and patches or through surgical procedures that are still considered by mainstream medicine to be experimental? Well the situation certainly isn't helped by all the commercial penis enlargement websites that try to stir male insecurities into a frenzy by giving inaccurate information about average penis size and how big you need to be to sexually satisfy your partner.
Most state that being anything less than 6.
5 inches in erect penis length is positively tiny and that you should be ashamed to ever consider having sex if you're less than this.
And of course, according to these websites, most women prefer a bigger than average penis too...
so even if you're the average 6.
5 inches - don't expect the missus to be happy about it.
But are these statements true? Firstly, let's take a look at average penis size.
Medical studies that have used strict measuring methodologies (relying on medical professionals to take measurements) almost universally record an average erect penis length of 5.
5 - 6 inches and an erect girth of 4.
5 - 5 inches.
Over 50 percent of men are endowed with an 'average' sized penis falling within these ranges.
That's quite a difference to the 'average' of 6.
5 - 7 inches quoted on many penis enlargement websites.
So if your anxieties about penis size are based on exaggerated misinformation, you can breathe a sigh of relief - you don't need to enlarge your penis.
What about women...
do they really prefer a bloke who's hung like a horse? Anatomically speaking at least, penis size shouldn't have much affect on your ability to satisfy a sexual partner.
The average vagina is only about 4 inches long during sexual arousal.
Of course, the vagina does expand if you're bigger than 4 inches - but that's all the penis length you really need.
Most of the really sensitive bits such as the g-spot are found within these first few inches - so a smaller penis shouldn't have any problem hitting the mark.
In fact, penis girth is far more important than length when it comes to giving the missus a good seeing to - the thicker your penis is the more physical stimulus you'll be giving her.
From a psychological perspective, a bigger penis may be more of a turn on - but again, it doesn't seem to bother the majority of women all that much.
A 'body image' study conducted by the University of California in 2005 found that out of 50,000 women, 85 percent said that they were 'very satisfied' by the size of their partner's penis.
Yes, some were probably lying out a sense of loyalty, but even so it gives some perspective on women's attitudes to penis size.
Another interesting fact was that only 6 percent of women felt that their partners were 'smaller than average' in the trouser department, whilst 40 percent of men confessed to believing that they were too small.
So it seems that penis size may be a concern to the average man more than it is to the average women.
That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with wanting to be an inch or two bigger - that psychological trait that makes us want to be bigger and better than our peers in all areas of our lives applies to our penises too; and there's no doubt that having a smaller than average penis can adversely affect male self esteem and confidence.
But don't let this innate male trait turn into an overwhelming obsession or anxiety based on grossly exaggerated and misleading information about average penis size or what women are looking for in a man.
If you're 5 - 6 inches in erect penis length, you're pretty much average and most women seem to be happy with that.
