Distinct Shape

• Hub fittings feature two distinct types of ends. The female ends are flared, or bell-shaped. Hub fittings feature a male end, which is smaller in diameter than the complementary female end. The male and female portions fit together like a lock and key. The male end fits inside of the female end in order to create a secure fit between the parts.
