- 1). Twist the lens cover on the light counterclockwise to take it off and expose the mounting surface.
- 2). Place the light on the underside of the cabinet and use a pencil to mark where the light is going to be installed.
- 3). Secure the light to the underside of the cabinet using the screws provided and a screwdriver or power drill. Make sure the electrical wiring has been placed in the notch that is located in the surface ring.
- 4). Secure the lens cover back on the light.
- 5). Run the electrical wire to an electrical outlet. Use a staple gun to secure the wire to the underside of the cabinet.
- 6). Insert the electrical wire into the terminal block of the transformer. Use a wire stripper to remove ½ inch of insulation from the end of the wire. Refer to the instructions for the puck light for the proper placement of the wire into the terminal block. Secure the wire to the terminal block by tightening the screws with a screwdriver.
- 7). Plug the transformer into a standard wall outlet and use the switch on the power cord to turn the puck light on to see if it works.
