- 1). Clamp a metal straight edge to any intended cut line to protect the stucco finish. Pushing a saw over the panel will scratch the stucco.
- 2). Cut stucco panels with a circular saw and a metal cutting blade. Run the saw guide along the metal straight edge you clamped on in Step 1.
- 3). Cut only the left side of stucco panels, when possible, to preserve the flanges on the right side of the panel.
- 4). Install unpainted flashing between the wall and all cuts in the stucco panels. Vertically cut panels must have unpainted flashing installed the full length of the sawed edge.
