How to Remove the Rinse Agent From a Dishwasher Dispenser

    • 1). Open your dishwasher and locate the rinse agent on your unit. The rinse agent is usually located on the dishwasher door next to the detergent dispenser.

    • 2). Turn the rinse agent cap clockwise to take it off of the rinse agent. Put the cap somewhere that you will not lose it.

    • 3). Use your hand or a screwdriver to turn the dishwasher dispenser to the maximum allotted for dispensing the rinse agent.

    • 4). Pour 1 cup of vinegar into the spray bottle. Spray a couple of squirts of the vinegar into the rinse agent.

    • 5). Put the rinse agent cap back onto the rinse agent. Close the dishwasher door and run the dishwasher to clean out the rinse agent and the vinegar in the system.
