Heated Fountain:  It is a good option for those who have cooler climates.  During cold winter, birds need a source of liquid water because it allows them to use the heat energy for survival as they can convert caloric energy of snow and ice to water. Heated birdbath can keep them from completely freezing as they can't create warm water.
6. Solar Fountain: A solar powered birdbath has built in solar panels that either add movement through fountain and a bubbler or provide energy either for heating the water. If desired, you can removed the solar panels in some models because these can make your birdbath fountain to be expensive though can be a dynamic additions to your garden.
