- 1). Scrape off as much epoxy as possible with a metal or plastic scraper.
- 2). Warm a heat gun to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and heat the epoxy until it softens. Scrape the soft epoxy away with a putty knife or scraper. Remove any epoxy that remains with sandpaper.
- 3). Wipe away residue with a soft cloth dampened with lacquer thinner, acetone or alcohol. Rinse the area when you are finished.
