Hi, I'm Lisa Yakas, and I'm here to tell you how to clean your dishwasher with vinegar. If your dishwasher has developed an odor or your dishes are spotty after they've been cleaned, it may help to wash your dishwasher with vinegar. Empty the dishwasher. Fill a dishwasher safe glass with one to two cups of distilled white vinegar. Place the cup on the upper or lower rack as recommended in your owner's manual. Close the door and leaving the dishwasher empty except for the glass containing the vinegar, run the dishwasher on a normal cycle. When the cycle is finished, open the door and allow the interior surfaces to dry before running.
