Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Remove the bedding from the mattress and launder as you normally would.
2
Blot fresh urine with several paper towels until no more urine can be absorbed.
3
Dampen a cloth in cool water and blot the area until it is thoroughly saturated. The water will help dilute the urine. Absorb the excess liquid with several paper towels.
4
Fill a clean spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar. Liberally spray the mattress with the vinegar. The vinegar will neutralize the cat urine while removing the odor.
5
Allow the vinegar to air dry on the mattress.
6
Sprinkle baking soda liberally over the mattress and allow it to sit for several hours. The baking soda will remove any lingering odors. Remove the baking soda with your vacuum's upholstery attachment.
