How to Do Braidless Weaving

    Bonding

    • 1). Apply a dot of the adhesive used to bond weaves to the inside of your wrist. Let it stay on the skin for 24 hours. Wash off with warm water. It is possible to be allergic to the glue and that can wreak havoc on the scalp.

    • 2). Choose a weft of hair that matches your hair color and texture. The goal of a bonded weave is that it looks completely natural.

    • 3). Turn a hair straightener on medium to high heat. Hold it at the roots of a two-inch section of hair, clamp down and run it slowly down the length of hair. Continue until you have done all the hair. It is ideal to straighten your hair before adding a weave as it makes it easier to match the it with your natural hair.

    • 4). Hold one weft of hair up to the top of your head. Trim the weave with a pair of hair cutting scissors so that it matches the length of your natural hair. Apply a small dab of the adhesive to both ends of the weft.

    • 5). Separate the top layer of your hair from the bottom layer of hair. Secure the hair on top of your head using clips.

    • 6). Put a layer of the adhesive on one edge of weave. Use just enough glue to cover the edge.

    • 7). Hold the weft of hair in your hand with the glue side facing way from you. Quickly place the hair in place on the lower section of hair.

    Fusion

    • 1). Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo. Let air dry or blow dry thoroughly. Do not apply conditioner to the hair as it makes it harder to do the fusion weave.

    • 2). Plug in the device that holds the hair glue. It is similar to a glue gun.

    • 3). Trim the ends off of the wefts of hair. Put the tip of the glue gun at the ends of the hair and apply a thin layer.

    • 4). Pull the top layer of your hair up on top of the crown of your head. Clip into place.

    • 5). Roll the weft of hair up so that it's in a tight ball. Hold it with a thumb and forefinger.

    • 6). Put the tip of the glue device and add a thin layer of adhesive onto the weft. Roll the hair up tight again.

    • 7). Place the weft on top of the bottom layer of the hair. Hold it in place for 10 seconds.

    • 8). Slide flat nose pliers into the section of weave over the glue. Press them down and break the section of glue to break it up.

    • 9). Pull the top layer of your hair up on top of the crown of your head. Clip into place.
