- 1). Measure the span and height of the brick wall to determine the size of fabric you need. Obtain a piece of fabric that’s at least one foot wider than the wall and just as tall. As an alternative to fabric, use curtains.
- 2). Attach two eyehooks for mounting a hanging wire. Drill a starter hole for easy insertion of the eyehooks. Place one eyehook into the wall that connects to the brick approximately one inch down from the ceiling and one inch away from the brick wall. Place another eyehook on the opposite wall in the same location.
- 3). Cut a piece of curtain wire that’s the length of the brick wall plus 10 additional inches.
- 4). Insert an end of the curtain wire in one eyehook, fold over five inches and clip it in place with a wire rope clip. Repeat the process on the other eyehook, pulling the wire tight.
- 5). Install a row of curtain clips onto the curtain wire. Clip the fabric or curtains in place and stretch out along the wire to hide the brick wall.
