Before I Buy Nutrisystem, Do I Need To Research Recipes And Meals?

I sometimes hear from folks who are interested in Nutrisystem but who aren't quite sure how the diet works.
Many are under the assumption that they will have to provide at least some of their own meals.
And because they really want the diet to work for them and to be as effective as it can possibly be, they have begun to research what they might eat outside this diet and still not sabotage their results.
So, they are often looking for meal ideas or recipes that are compatible with this.
I might hear someone say: "I plan on starting Nutrisystem next month.
I am very serious about staying on the diet and getting the results that I want.
But I am not really skilled at cooking healthful meals.
I don't want to do everything right while on the diet and eating the diet foods and then messing everything up when I try to cook my own meals.
Should I be researching recipes prior to going on this diet?" Honestly, if you are going to do a full time plan like most people, then you do not need to worry about this.
They provide all of your main meals as well as some snacks and some desserts.
Yes, you are asked to provide some fresh foods, but these are added in with the diet foods.
So, for example, you might add some strawberries to your Nutrisystem cereal.
Or some cottage cheese to your provided diet lunch.
But you shouldn't have to prepare any of your own meals.
The only exception to this would be if you were on the part time plan, which is called Nutrisystem flex.
With that plan you eat the plan's meals, snacks, and desserts for five days out of the week.
For the other two days, you eat your own meal that you prepare.
In this case, you would need to have some go to meals that would work for you.
Of course, you could eat out for these meals, but you'd need to be careful that what you eat meets with the plan's guidelines.
Many people think that the flex plan meets that you get to eat whatever you want on your two days off.
This isn't supposed to be the case.
You are supposed to eat very sensibly so that you don't negate the gains that you have made throughout the week.
So unless you are on the flex plan, you won't need to worry about recipes and meal plans because most everything is provided for you except for the fresh foods that you will add to your pre prepared meals.
Both the flex and the regular plans are packages.
