• Nissan introduced the Xterra in the United States in 2000 with the marketing slogan "Everything you need, nothing you don't." This compact SUV was marketed to particularly adventurous consumers, as it is a fully capable off-road vehicle. The Xterra was redesigned in 2005 and received only minimal changes thereafter. • The 2007 Xterra S, both the four- and the two-wheel-drive versions, was built with a 4.0-liter V6 engine with dual overhead camshafts and a bore of 95.5 mm, a stroke of 92 mm and a compression ratio of 9.7:1.
