Short Witness Tools for Kids

    Tracts

    • Tracts represent a simple and user-friendly witnessing tool that is also extremely brief in the contact time needed between two people. Tracts come in a variety of styles geared towards specific audiences. Some are in the form of comics intended specifically for children. It is important to train your child in how to use a tract. Having your child ask the recipient of the tract if they can read it together may produce better results.

    Videos

    • Videos and movies are another way to allow children to witness to their peers. Short animated videos tell stories from the Bible while teaching a moral lesson. One of the benefits of these videos is their short time requirement. They also limit the interaction between your child and his peers, which is an advantage if your child is shy or nervous about evangelizing others.

    Toys

    • There are toys made specifically to serve the dual purpose of having fun and sharing the gospel message. Examples of these toys include board games and flying discs that have the gospel message printed on the underside. Puzzles, stickers, storybooks, bracelets and action figures with storybooks are also available to help children learn and share about the responsibilities of their faith.

    Computers and Internet

    • Several computer games and websites teach some of the tenets and beliefs of the Christian faith, as well as sharing the gospel message. Websites offer your child a quick and easy way to share the beliefs of the Christian faith with other children who are technologically and Internet savvy. Computer users may also invite their peers to join social networking sites or chat rooms geared specifically towards Christians.
