- 1). Turn the ignition key to the "II" position and verify that the SRS light comes on.
- 2). Open the fuse box underneath the steering column. Turn the lock handle counterclockwise and pull down on the fuse panel cover.
- 3). Remove the SRS fuse with the fuse pullers in the fuse box.
- 4). Check the metal strap inside the fuse to make sure that the fuse is not burnt or broken. If it is, replace the fuse with a fuse of the same amperage.
- 5). Have a Honda dealership run a systems diagnostic check on your vehicle. There is a known SRS problem on some Honda vehicles that will cause the SRS system to malfunction. There is no recall on this defect, but the problem is covered by Honda's extended warranty, if you have one.
