The Empress

• The Empress in Little Rock is an ideal spot for an Arkasnas honeymoon. Built in 1888, the mansion features unique architectural elements that include a divided stairway, tower room, a stained glass skylight and octagonal guest rooms. Originally known as the Hornibrook Mansion, the structure became a nursing home in the late 1940s and was later converted into apartments. In 1994 it was restored and became known as The Empress. Guests can choose from elegant room decorated with antiques, four-poster beds, cable television, fireplaces, separate sitting areas, complimentary robes and CD players. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning by candlelight. Special wedding and honeymoon pacakges are also available.
