How to Make Beer Can Wind Spinners

    • 1). Put on leather gloves and cut the tops off all the beer cans, just below the top ridge with a razor knife.

    • 2). Draw 9 parallel lines, approximately 1 inch apart, down the length of two of the cans with the tip of a pencil.

    • 3). Cut along the lines that you drew, leaving 1 inch uncut at the bottom of the cans.

    • 4). Drill a hole at the center of the bottoms of all four cans with a drill.

    • 5). Bend the cut sections outwards on the two cut cans.

    • 6). Straighten a metal coat hanger.

    • 7). Assemble your cans with one of the cut cans inside down, one uncut can top down and secured onto the first can, then the second cut can and the second uncut can secured in the same manner, onto the coat hanger. Bend a 1 inch length at the end of the coat hanger upwards, to secure the assembled pieces at the front and then bend the coat hanger down at the back of the assembled cans to use it to plant your spinner in the ground.
