Movies We Love That Wouldn"t Exist With Home Alarms

The idea of your home being broken into is terrifying, and it would be terrible to wish something like this on anyone.
Although this concept is a terrible one, it has lead to some great movies, like "Home Alone" and "Hook.
" Had Kevin in "Home Alone", had a home alarm system, we would not have the pleasure of watching him set up booby traps and harass the attempting burglars.
Although home robberies aren't entertaining in real life, they sure do make for some good stories in the movies, after all Peter Pan would have never returned to Neverland if Hook hadn't broken into his house and kidnapped his children.
If you haven't seen these movies, you must, because they are classics.
Home Alone (1990) - This Christmas classic will have you laughing on the floor.
Set in 1990, before home security was very common, "Home Alone," follows the life of 8-year-old Kevin McAllister, when he is left at home by accident, while the rest of his family travels to Paris.
At first, Kevin is elated at the idea of having the house all to himself.
TV whenever he wants, junk food all day long, jumping on the bed whenever he wants, life can't get much better, until two burglars, Harry and Marv set their sites on the beautiful suburban house.
If successful, they would hit the jackpot and since they believe the family is on vacations and they know they don't have a home security system, they go for it.
Little do they know, mischievous Kevin is up for the fight, setting up extravagant booby traps in all directions.
Kevin's hilarious inventions, along with the hilarious failures of Harry and Marv will have you rolling on the floor.
Hook (1991) - Peter Pan has grown up.
He fell in love with Wendy's granddaughter and decided to leave Neverland.
Now he is a career obsessed, middle-aged man.
Far from his youthful Peter Pan persona, Peter Banning cannot even remember his childhood as the famous Peter Pan.
On Christmas vacation visiting his wife's family in England, the adults go to a party celebrating the famous Wendy's philanthropy, and while they are there, their children are kidnapped.
The old fashioned house is devoid of a home alarm, and Captain Hook easily enters through the window and takes Peter's children.
He brings them all the way to Neverland, and Peter is forced to return and remember his identity as Peter Pan in order to fight the nasty Captain Hook and get his children back.
The tale twists fantasy and hilarity into one big wonderful family adventure movie that cannot be missed!
