How would you like to learn how to cook deep fried chicken in an orderly and timely manner? How about taking a little time just to rinse, clean, season, and cook and watch chicken cook to a brown golden crisp? It is very beneficial to use a Deep Fryer to cook chicken.
The Deep Fryer cooking method is the easiest, most safe, and most affective way of cooking fried chicken.
Here are 7 steps to deep-frying chicken: 1) First you have to defrost your chicken pieces you plan on cooking if they are frozen.
Make sure your pieces of chicken are completely thawed out.
If your chicken is not frozen and thawed out move on to step 2.
Defrost time usually depends on the size of the chicken pieces.
2) Second you have to rinse and clean your chicken.
this step is pretty easy.
I usually run luke warm water over each one of the pieces of chicken while rinsing and cleaning them off.
This get ride of all the loose fat and dirt.
3) Third you have to season your chicken at your own discretion.
I usually lay my thawed chicken on several paper towels before seasoning.
This eliminates the mess! Now sprinkle the seasonings you have chosen to use on your chicken.
It's up to you on how much seasoning you would like to use.
I recommend seasoning-salt, and pepper.
4) Forth you have to coat your seasoned pieces of chicken with flour.
I recommend first putting flour into a large bowl suitable for your chicken.
Then rolling each piece of chicken around in that bowl of flour insuring that it's covered completely.
5) Fifth you have to prepare the Deep-Fryer with oil in which will cook the chicken pieces.
You will need to fill your Deep-Fryer with vegetable or canola oil about half way.
(Don't fill to the top because you need to leave space for your chicken pieces to cook.
) Once you have filled the Deep-Fryer its time to pre heat the oil.
It's best to set your Deep-Fryer on medium temperature so you don't over cook the chicken.
Now let the oil pre heat for about 15-20 minutes.
6) Once the oil has pre heated you safely place your ready to go pieces of chicken in the Deep-Fryer.
Be careful when completing this step you don't want to burn yourself with hot oil! Now all you have to do is watch the chicken cook periodically about every 5-10 minutes.
Once the chicken appears crispy golden brown and is floating at the top of the Deep-Fryer, they're finished cooking.
7) Finally its time to remove the cooked chicken from the Deep-Fryer to drain the oil from them.
It's best to use a long-handled fork for this step so you don't burn yourself with hot oil.
once removed from the Deep-Fryer I recommend putting the chicken into a large bowl lined with several paper towels.
This is the best way to drain the oil.
Once you've completed this step its time to eat! There you have it, 7 simple steps to cooking the best fried chicken you will ever experience in life.
I hope all goes well.
Enjoy!
