In order to keep your nitro car cool while racing, you may cut out its windows and instead install some mesh screens which will be able to let in cool air and allow for circulation.

For better traction and smoother landings, puncture some holes in the rims of your RC car. This will provide for the escape of air whenever you hit the jumps. For better grip in your tires, be sure to rub them with some face pads before setting out. This is also useful for older tires which get to have that brand new feel as well.

Place some super-glue rubber pads to the insides of the body of the RC car. This will help in the reduction of vibration while racing. Try holding your transmitter horizontally as opposed to vertically which will make your controlling the RC car much more natural. Be sure to always check your tires - and your rear ones in particular, for correct wear patterns. In order to ensure that you get more traction, check that your tires are touching the ground on all sides – right, middle and left. This way, one side of the tire will not wear out faster than the other sides.
