The Honda Rincon 680 is a 2006 model of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), also known as a quad, produced by Honda. ATVs have low-pressure tires, and are designed to carry one or two people. The operator's seat is straddled by the operator; the passenger seat, if there is one, is right behind the operator's. The handlebars work as the steering controls. Quads are typically driven off-road, and are not considered street-legal vehicles in most states. - Honda designed an all-new 675cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine for the Honda Rincon 680. The engine has cold-weather starting ability, which makes it possible to drive the vehicle in cold climates. The maximum power output is 14.3 kW at 6,500 rpm, while the maximum torque is 23 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
- The Honda Rincon 680 features an automatic transmission with a hydraulic tourque converter (3-speed, forward, 1-speed reverse; electrical control). The engine braking of this model appears to be superior to that of its competition. During deceleration, the Rincon 680 has enough engine braking to make the driver feel comfortable and yet not throw him over the bars.
- The Honda Rincon 680 measures 83.2 inches long, 46.8 inches wide and 47.5 inches high. The seat height is 34.5 inches. The ground clearance of the vehicle is 10.0 inches, while the wheelbase measures 50.8 inches. The vehicle weighs 600 pounds. The Honda Rincon 680 typically comes in four colors: red, olive, camouflage and charcoal black.
