      The 1981 GS1100 is a classic "Universal Japanese Motorcycle" manufactured by Suzuki. This motorcycle was produced from 1980 until 1984, when Suzuki began to produce a larger GS1150 motorcycle. The Suzuki GS series offered its riders practical and versatile motorcycling. Suzuki still produces a GS500F and the larger GSX sport bike series, whose engines reach 1250cc.

    Design and Appearance

    • The 1981 Suzuki GS1100 has a 60/55-watt round headlight that is encased in chrome and has an 8/23-watt tail/brake light. Turn signals mount both sides of the bike on the front and back. The indication and display panel features a speedometer, a tachometer, a neutral indicator light, an oil pressure indicator light, and high beam and turn signal indicator lights. The GS1100 was sold in a variety of colors, including black, red and silver with light blue and turquoise decal stripes.
