- 1). Use a dab of glue to attach a metallic cord (color is up to you) to the bottom back "leg" of a flat slotted clothespin or baby flat slotted clothespin. Wrap the cord up around the clothespin to where the "armpits" of the doll would be and secure with another dab of glue. Do not cut off remaining cord.
- 2). Cut the heads off two kitchen matches and glue them on either side of the clothespin to make arms. Wrap the rest of the cord around the "shoulders." Trim the cord and use a bit of glue to secure it on the back of the doll.
- 3). Glue yarn or embroidery floss to the head of the clothespin to make hair. Paint or draw a face on the doll.
- 4). Add additional embellishments with glue if desired, such as small faux jewels or a small piece of gold cord to make a crown for your doll.
- 1). Print a gingerbread man pattern off a craft site or make your own. Trace the pattern onto a piece of brown felt and cut out. Repeat with a second piece of felt to create the back of the doll.
- 2). Use a wavy border stitch and white embroidery floss to create "frosting" designs on the arms and legs on the front doll piece. Use red embroidery thread for a mouth and black for the eyes and nose. Any additional embroidery thread designs are up to you.
- 3). Place the pieces on top of one another and sew the edges, leaving one piece open for stuffing the doll.
- 4). Stuff the doll with uncooked rice or craft filler. Sew the opening shut.
