- 1). Unscrew the cap for your diesel fuel tank.
- 2). Pour in the recommended amount of diesel anti-gelling additive according to manufacturer's recommendations. Usually, a quart of anti-gelling product will treat three to four tanks full of diesel in most pickups.
- 3). Fill your tank with diesel. It is recommended that you fill your tank after you add the anti-gelling product. This will help to mix the product in with the diesel.
