- 1). Turn on your Nokia 6085 and locate the memory card compartment on the lower-righ the unit. Use the tip of your finger to pop the compartment cover off.
- 2). Insert the memory card into the compartment, making sure the gold contacts at the end of the card go in first, and are facing up. Press the memory card into the compartment until it locks in place and replace the cover.
- 3). Select "Menu" from the list of options in the phone menu and then select "Gallery" from the list of options that appears.
- 4). Select "Options" from the list of options in the drop-down menu and then select "Format mem. card." Your memory card will then be formatted and be completely activated and ready for use.
