- 1). Sit or stand in the position where you'll normally be when you listen to audio from your sound system. You should be in the exact center of all the speakers in your system.
- 2). Press the "Menu" button on your receiver's remote control.
- 3). Use the arrow keys on the receiver's remote control until "Balance" appears on its LED screen. Press "Enter" to select.
- 4). Use the left and right arrow buttons on the remote control to set the balance. Move the indicator on the receiver's LED screen to the left to balance sound more toward the left speakers in your system. Move the indicator on the LED screen to the right to balance sound more toward the right speakers in your system. Leave the indicator in the exact center to have an equal balance between all speakers in your system.
- 5). Press the "Menu" button again to save your changes and exit the receiver's on-screen menu. You will now have balanced your sound system.
