How to Use a Compact Flash Card With ReadyBoost

    • 1). Insert the CompactFlash card into your computer's CompactFlash slot.

    • 2). Click "Start" and "Computer."

    • 3). Right-click the drive icon that corresponds to your CompactFlash drive in the Computer window and select "Properties."

    • 4). Click the "ReadyBoost" tab at the top of the Properties window.

    • 5). Click the "Dedicate This Device To ReadyBoost" option if you want to use the entire drive for ReadyBoost, or select the "Use This Device" option and drag the slider to the left or right to select a size if you only want to use part of the device for ReadyBoost.

    • 6). Click the "OK" button.
