- Summertime in Heartland, Wisconsin, is never boring thanks to the many summer recreation programs available in the area for kids of all ages. It is situated on Lake Keesus near Heartland, located on 306 acres of hills, forests, fields and wetlands. Camp Whitcomb/Mason offers a variety of nature-oriented activities for children. Summer activities include day and overnight camp programs. Camp Whitcomb/Mason has been in operation since 1911 and is generally recognized for setting the standard for excellence in camping in the area.

During summer, the camp offers an overnight summer camp for boys and girls, from fourth- to ninth-graders. Activities in this Christian camp include exploring the outdoors, singing spiritual songs, listening to inspirational speakers, playing games, arts and crafts and aquatic activities. Camp Calvin uses the facilities of Camp Whitcomb/Mason.
