Camp Whitcomb/Mason

• This is a year-round facility owned and operated by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and is accredited by the American Camp Association. It is situated on Lake Keesus near Heartland, located on 306 acres of hills, forests, fields and wetlands. Camp Whitcomb/Mason offers a variety of nature-oriented activities for children. Summer activities include day and overnight camp programs. Camp Whitcomb/Mason has been in operation since 1911 and is generally recognized for setting the standard for excellence in camping in the area.

Camp Calvin

• For Christians, a good option is Camp Calvin, which is part of the youth ministry of Classis Wisconsin of the Christian Reformed Church. During summer, the camp offers an overnight summer camp for boys and girls, from fourth- to ninth-graders. Activities in this Christian camp include exploring the outdoors, singing spiritual songs, listening to inspirational speakers, playing games, arts and crafts and aquatic activities.
