Fairy Tale Princess

• Fairy wings can transform a Halloween princess costume into something special. You can make your own fairy wings with 12-gauge craft wire and sheer fabric and stitch them onto the back of your princess gown. You can find a tiara at your local craft store to complete the ensemble. To make the fairy wings, cut two 35-inch lengths of craft wire and mold each one into the shape of one wing. This length of wire makes a good size wing for a little girl, but you may need to increase or decrease the wire, depending on how large you'd like the wings to be. You can make a floral headpiece by gluing flower blossoms onto a strand of ribbon that's cut to fit your head.
