How to Synchronize Groupwise Folders on a BlackBerry

    • 1). Contact your IT coordinator or office manager, depending on your office's network. You may need to access the BlackBerry server with a password.

    • 2). Download the BlackBerry Desktop Manager if your office does not have a BlackBerry server. (See Resources.) Follow instructions for installing the software. Enter your full name and contact information to register with BlackBerry.

    • 3). Restart the computer. Attach your BlackBerry to your computer with the USB cable. The small jack goes into the BlackBerry and the larger USB end goes into your computer's USB port.

    • 4). Double-click the BlackBerry Desktop Manager icon. Click "Organize." Your options for programs and files should appear.

    • 5). Choose "GroupWise." Locate which folders you want to synchronize. Click "Sync" to let your phone sync with the computer.
