1991 Acura Integra GS Specifications

      The 1991 Acura Integra was a compact sports car from Acura, Honda's luxury division. It was produced in the middle of the vehicle's second production cycle, which ran from 1989 to 1993. The GS was the top-level trim for the 1991 Integra, with the two-door coupe and four-door sedan having original manufacturer's suggested retail prices of $16,105 and $16,645, respectively. As of October 2010, the automotive valuation publication Kelley Blue Book gives it a price range of $1,900 to $2,025.

    Engine, Transmission and Fuel Economy

    • A 1.8-liter, inline four-cylinder engine with a 16-valve, DOHC (double overhead camshaft) configuration powered the 1991 Acura Integra RS. It produced 130 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 126 ft.-lb. of torque at 4,200 rpm. Its bore and stroke were 3.11 and 3.6 inches, respectively, and its compression ratio was 10 to 1.

      The engine of the 1991 Integra RS was paired with a five-speed manual transmission with overdrive, with a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive offered as an option. With a 13.2-gallon gas tank, the Integra RS's fuel economy was 24 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

    Interior Specs

    • Acura designed the 1991 Integra GS to accommodate up to five people: the driver and four passengers. However, the interior dimensions of the coupe and sedan differ from each other.

      At the front of the coupe, headroom was 38.5 inches, legroom was 41.8 inches, shoulder room was 52.7 inches, and hip room was 50.7 inches. The back of the vehicle featured 34.7 inches of headroom, 28.6 inches of legroom, 52 inches of shoulder room and 47 inches of hip room.

      As for the sedan, it had 38.7 inches of headroom, 41.6 inches of legroom, 52.9 inches of shoulder room and 50.6 inches of hip room. Its rear space provided headroom space of 36.8 inches, legroom space of 31.7 inches, shoulder room space of 52.4 inches and hip room space of 51.1 inches.

    Exterior Specs

    • The 1991 Acura Integra GS was the only trim of the vehicle that had its wheels made of aluminum. The coupe and sedan shared the same 67.5-inch width. However, the sedan is longer and taller than the coupe; the former was 176.5 inches long and 50.6 inches high, while the latter was 172.9 inches long and 50 inches high. The sedan was also heavier, with a curb weight of 2,714 lb. compared to the coupe's 2,654 lb.
