- The Twinstar had a 181 cc, or 11.04 cubic-inch, engine with two cylinders and two valves per cylinder. The bore and stroke of the engine was 2.1 by 1.6 inches and the compression ratio was 9 to 1. The engine was air-cooled, four-stroke and used an overhead cam to control the valves.
- The bike had a chain final drive system to transfer engine power to turn the rear wheels and used a four-speed gearbox. Both brakes were drum types, with internal shoes expanding to slow the wheels. The bike weighed 302 lbs. and had a fuel tank with a 2.9-gallon capacity.
- The Twinstar produced 10 horsepower at 7,500 revolutions per minute and had a top speed of 57.8 mph.
