Approach #1

• 1). Open any Web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, and navigate to media-convert.com (see link in the Resource section).
  
  
• 2). Click "Choose File" and track down the DV file on your computer. Then press "OK."
  
  
• 3). Choose "DV" or "Digital Video" from the input extension list.
  
  
• 4). Select "MPEG" or "MPG" as your video output extension.
  
  
• 5). Click "OK" to commence the DV-to-MPEG conversion. A pop-up containing your MPEG appears after the conversion finishes.
  
  

Method #2

• 1). Locate mediaconverter.org in your favorite browser (see link in the Resource section).
  
  
• 2). Press "Upload a file" and find the DV file you want to convert. The DV's name appears under "Selected Files."
  
  
• 3). Pick "MPEG" as your output extension. Click "Start" to begin the conversion.
  
  
• 4). Click on the link that displays after Media Converter is done with the conversion. This begins the MPEG download.
  
  

Procedure #3

• 1). Open Zamzar.com in any Web browser (see link in the Resource section).
  
  
• 2). Click the "Choose File" button then locate the DV.
  
  
• 3). Select "MPEG" as your output movie extension.
  
  
• 4). Enter your email into the "E-mail" section.
  
  
• 5). Click "Convert." After Zamzar finishes the conversion, it will send you an email with a link to your MPEG.
