Exposure like this may also provide a network for the hiring of qualified and motivated interns who can assist in the development of your curatorship.
- 3). Identify funding sources. One way to do this is to involve construction developers, giving them the option to contribute to your grant base when new structures are built. The amount of the donation can be relative to the size of the construction project or its total "footprint. You can also turn to fundraisers, donations, and government and institutional grants to augment your resources. You might create an account which goes solely towards permanent pieces of your collection, allowing smaller quantities to be spent on encouraging new public artwork.
- 4). Select software, in accordance with your budget and capacity, to create an archive of your collection. This archive can be posted on the web as well which can serve as a publicity tool for your program. It could grant access to research institutions, students, and potential funders as well as supplying you with a useful conservation tool.
