Spinelli finds an unconscious Maxie in the same place where Georgie died, and he flips out. He carries her to GH. At her bedside, Spinelli declares his love for Maxie - she's still unconscious, of course, and wakes up moments later.
Carly walks up to Jax at the MetroCourt and asks him if he really plans on sleeping with Kate. The two have a ferocious argument as the concierge stands there uncomfortably, waiting for a decision on a marble order for the spa.

Kate appears in Olivia's hospital room after watching her and Sonny having lighthearted conversation. She accuses Olivia of hitting on Sonny, comparing it to the San Gennaro Festival when she caught Sonny and Olivia behind the zeppole stand. I mean, it goes somewhat far afield.

Elizabeth runs up to Jason at the coffee house, relieved that he's okay and not wanting to be apart from him again. Now, what is Jason going to say to that? Lucky, as a policeman on the scene, tells Elizabeth she's crazy to put her kids in a bad situation by coming out of the closet with her relationship with Jason. He isn't finished; at General Hospital later on, he advises her that if she thinks she can have a life with Jason, she's deluding herself.

Lulu notices that Johnny has been quiet since they ran into Claudia. Lulu tells him that she doesn't want to complicate his life. He replies that she's the one good thing in his life. Then they have sex. Afterwards, Johnny talks about the high price of living off of a mob father.

Ric does not have a favorable reaction to Claudia's announcement of her impending nuptials to his brother! She says it's strictly business and nothing need change between them. Ric thinks she wants him to talk her out of it. Ric warns her that she's heading down a dangerous path, obsessed with beating her father the same way he was obsessed with beating Sonny.

Carly is anxious to make a deal with Nikolas about the MetroCourt, but he informs her that he may have to be a silent partner, explaining his deportation problems. He adds that Nadine offered to marry him - Carly laughs and says, of course! Nikolas tells her that Nadine isn't manipulative, at which point, voila, there's Nadine. She informs him that now that they're about to be married, he shouldn't be around Carly. An amused bordering on hysterically laughing Carly walks away. Jax approaches Nikolas to tell him that, with his purchase of Spoon Island, he's Nikolas' landlord.

Kate and Olivia are still going at it. When Kate brings up Dante, Olivia responds that she tolerated gossip and guilt to keep Dante's paternity unknown. Kate doesn't care about that, only about what it says concerning Olivia's true feelings for Sonny. Olivia claims to want nothing to do with Sonny, and she never wants him to know about Dante. Jason enters and wants to talk to Olivia about the mobsters in the coffee shop. She verifies that they were Russians. Kate lets Jason know that if he's not going to protect Sonny, Sonny will have to marry Claudia. p]Sonny walks into his home to find Claudia and Ric arguing. Before he leaves, Ric pleads with Sonny and Claudia not to get married. Sonny thinks Ric is upset about losing influence with the Zs. Claudia says Ric thinks he can have her. She's nasty, plain and simple.

Mac is beside himself when he enters Maxie's hospital room. Faced with the loss of another daughter, he verbally lashes out at Spinelli, blaming him and his association with Jason for what happened. He doesn't want Spinelli near Maxie ever again. He's sick of Spinelli and his fake language. With Spinelli gone, Mac sits by his daughter's bedside and talks about the dangers of having a ferocious mobster like that Spinelli guy around. Spinelli does some work on the computer concerning Karpov. He removes a box from Jason's closet and takes out the gun.

Sam wants to go back undercover with the Russian mob. When she tells Jason, he doesn't like it, but she's sure that she can handle it.

Claudia tries to talk to Sonny about the upcoming wedding, but tells her to leave. She does so, but not before giving him a hot kiss - witnessed, of course, by our resident spy, Kate!
