Years ago, I went to the IMAX theater and saw the movie Blue Planet.
The movie started out with a view of earth from a space shuttle window.
As the shuttle flew around our blue planet, the camera zoomed down at times into close-up scenes of various places around the earth.
By its nature, the IMAX totally involves the viewer.
It places you right into the experience.
When the shuttle in the movie flew over South America, the camera zoomed to ground level.
In this scene, several men were shown intentionally setting trees on fire to clear the land for farming.
This part of the movie shocked me.
It was so vivid, so real, as if I were actually there on the forest floor, having the experience first-hand.
As the camera pulled up towards satellite height, I saw acres and acres of rainforest burning wildly across the South American landscape.
Seeing the trees being burned up felt senseless, and horrifying.
I fell asleep that night, quite alarmed.
The next morning I awakened with a severe sore throat and burning, infected eyes.
I wondered what had caused this sudden onset of so strange an illness.
That night I asked for a healing dream.
I dreamt: I am in the midst of the South American rainforest.
Many men are setting fire to the trees.
I am so close to the heat that my throat is scorched.
The smoke burns my eyes.
I follow the men and watch them set fire after fire to different areas of the forest.
I feel devastated and helpless.
Then, suddenly thousands of people come into the forest and begin putting out the fires.
I awakened from that dream fully healed.
My eyes were clear, my throat no longer hurt.
When I interpreted the dream, I learned that my strange, sudden illness had been a literal body-reaction to the burning rainforest scene in the IMAX movie.
Since I'd been a child, I had always loved trees.
I could not bear seeing them destroyed.
My Dream Decipher process gave the following details about my physical reaction to the movie: My angst over seeing the loss of the rainforest caused the eye infection.
My eyes took on this illness because I didn't want to see the total devastation of the forest.
My throat burned in empathy as if I were actually caught in the fire.
In essence, I had become like one of the trees.
Seeing the vast number of acres of trees that were on fire, and knowing that this goes on every day left me feeling helpless about how to save the trees.
Yet, in the final scene of the dream which showed thousands of people coming to put out the fires, something shifted, and that shift healed my illness.
I n that last dream scene, I had reached the profound, mass consciousness level of dream time.
This was obviously Spirit led, as I had not asked to go there.
The last scene showed me that I could do something to help save the rainforest--and I could do this without leaving my house I could join with others in dreamtime in my quest to save the trees.
Because of my years of dream research I knew that Carl Jung studied, and wrote about the sharing, or archetypal level of dreaming, which he called the Collective Unconscious.
In the Seth books by Jane Roberts, Seth calls it the Mass Consciousness Level of Dreaming.
I had also read about the power of this level of consciousness in a little book by Ken Keyes called The Hundredth Monkey.
In this book, Keyes tells a story about a scientific experiment done with monkeys that lived on a group of isolated islands.
The scientists gave sweet potatoes to the monkeys on all the islands.
One day the researchers noticed that one young monkey washed his sweet potato before eating it.
In the following days and months, other monkeys-on this one island alone-mimicked this behavior.
The other islands were far enough apart that communication between islands was impossible.
The monkeys on separated islands could not see each other or hear one another's vocal calls.
Yet, one day, when a critical mass +number of monkeys washed their potatoes, monkeys on all the other islands ALSO began to wash their potatoes.
(*This critical mass number was arbitrarily referred to as "the hundredth monkey") I do not know if this is a true story.
It was purported to be.
Like the recent movie AVATAR, (with a similar message about the senseless, greedy destruction of precious trees) it may be only a metaphor.
But even if so, it does make a valid point.
THE POINT IS THIS - When enough people focus their minds in the same way, and on the same thing-critical mass is reached.
The threads of consciousness go out planet-wide with synchronistic energy.
On a quantum physics level, this means that when a hundred minds think the same thought, and passionately desire the same thing, thousands of minds are reached telepathically.
Reality is created from our thoughts, desires, passions, and visions.
On a mass level, linking with others of like mind and like desires can create positive change.
From my extreme physical reaction to the IMAX rainforest movie, and my dream that healed me, I learned that I could reach this mind-linked level of mass consciousness dreaming--simply by asking to do so.
What is your primary concern for the earth and its beings? What do you wish for? What do you pray for? In dreamtime, your love for the earth can be linked with Spirit's healing energy.
You can be an Earth Keeper.
What preservation project for the earth is important to you? • Pure and abundant water? • A safe ozone layer? • The preservation of dolphins, whales, or other endangered species? • Recycling our precious resources? • Safe energy sources to replace our dependence on oil? • Or, one can ask for the enlightenment of those naive, unaware people who do not understand the destruction they cause to the earth and its beings.
Pure and abundant water? How to be a dream-time Earth Keeper The dream state is a powerful place for healing of body, mind and soul; and for healing of the planet and its beings as well.
This includes the plant, mineral and animal kingdoms as well as humans.
Before falling asleep, you can ask to meet with others of like mind for your specific project to help the earth.
You can do this type of dream-requesting as often as you want.
Decide specifically what Earth Keeper project you want to focus on.
Write the request down, and keep it next to your bed where you can look at it before turning out the light.
This sets intention.
It tells the conscious and subconscious that you are serious about this request.
Your unconscious mind will keep this project ongoing, while you are awake.
Recap: Simple Steps for programming your Earth Keeper Dream Example: If healing the earth's waters is your focus, your request can be stated: Tonight in my dream, I desire to join with others of like-mind to clean up the waters: the oceans, the seas, rivers and lakes.
1.
Make a specific request at least one night a week.
Write it down.
2.
State your request in your mind.
Ask for it to be a Shamanic Dream - that is to be making a journey to the mass consciousness realm of dreaming.
Add that you want to join with others of like-mind.
3.
Now make an image of what you want.
(Be standing/sitting next to a pure body of water and enjoying it.
) 4.
Feel passionate about this image.
Put your heart and soul into it 5.
If you are familiar with EFT, tap this request and feeling.
Fall asleep with trust and faith that you are truly helping to make a positive difference for the planet.
